Recognizing Climate Change

"Recognizing and finding solutions to cope with shifting climates for forest and savanna dwellers in the Congo Basin must be locally feasible.  INCEF teamed up with USAID/CARPE to create and disseminate videos that would speak to populations in both Republic of Congo and in Democratic Republic of Congo and provoke discussions on what solutions were possible for them to cope with climate change.

The Congo Basin is also home to Africa's largest remaining rainforest and must be conserved to help offset the the repercussions of climate change.  By partnering with the African Wildlife Foundation and US Forest Service INCEF is also creating and disseminating films to help villagers understand the best methods to conserve these forests see Managing Africa's Forests.
