In March, INCEF will team up with UNICEF to help save lives by teaching the proper use of Nerox-02 water filters.  These filters were recently distributed to local families and refugees in Congo's Likouala District, an area that has been inundated by people fleeing fighting in neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo.  INCEF educators will travel to 30 villages, making sure that the recipients of these filters know how to use them properly.

Using Nerox-02 filters will help villagers and refugees avoid water-borne illnesses, a major cause of death in Likouala.

Our educators will also take advantage of this outreach to continue teaching basic-but-vital practices that improve mother and infant health, and recognition and avoidance of emerging viruses such as monkeypox.
