Thomas Trauger

Thomas Trauger, a supporter of INCEF from its beginning in 2005, joined the INCEF Board in October of 2010.  He is a partner with the law firm of Spiegel & McDiarmid, where he has worked for more than twenty-five years specializing in energy, electric restructuring, regulatory policy, ratemaking and antitrust issues.  He is a representative for the citizens group of Centralia, Pennsylvania where an underground coal mine fire has burned for over twenty-five years forcing nearly all of its citizens to abandon their home.  An avid runner and hiker he has run all 184.5 miles of the C&O Canal and climbed to the summit of many United States mountain ranges including the Rockies and the Grand Titons.  A graduate of Washington University, he was a Fulbright Scholar and studied at the University of Cologne. He earned his law degree from Harvard Law School.  Tom lives in Washington DC with his wife Jana Belsky and daughter Hallie Belsky Trauger.
