Gorillas
Summary
This is a seven minute film demonstrating the aspects of gorilla behavior - facial expression, social interaction, physical activity – that human beings most respond to as being very much like our own. It shows off gorillas as the intelligent social animals that local people – who have known them mostly as food – have never considered or imagined them to be.
INCEF cameraman Anatole Mafoula shot footage at the Gorilla Protection Project at LeFini and additional material was provided by Thomas Breuer from the Mbeli Bai in the Nouabale-Ndoki National Park. The film was scored by INCEF’s editor Jéhu Olivier Bikoumou and is presented without narration.
