Hunting

Summary

Hunters who go about their work illegally give the same compelling reason for what they do as hunters who employ sustainable practices – it’s to feed their families. But non-sustainable hunting puts both endangered species and the country’s food security for the future at great risk.

This sixteen minute film presents a series of first person testimonies exposing the difference between subsistence hunting and hunting to provide meat for the commercial bushmeat trade – an unsustainable practice that results in over-hunting, criminal charges frequently and the demise of threatened and endangered species.
